2023 NSW State Lever Action Championships
Saturday 6th May and Sunday 7th May, 2023.

Casino Rifle Range, 30 Rifle Range Rd, Casino NSW
Program:
Friday 5th May: Practice from 9am to 3pm. Detail positions drawn 4pm.
Saturday 6th May: Practice 100 m only from 8.30am to 9.30am by detail,
Briefing: 9.30am followed by the Open Lever Action Match of 50 rounds.
Sunday 7th May: Practice 100 m only from 8.30am to 9.30am by detail,
Briefing: 9.30am followed by the Classic Calibre Match of 35 rounds
Dinner:
Saturday dinner is included in the nomination fee for competitors and will be
held at the range Saturday evening at approximately 6pm. Please confirm
catering requirements by 18th April 2023.
Catering:
Self help tea and coffee, lunches at cost.
Meeting:
SSAA NSW Lever Action Discipline Meeting Saturday afternoon at 3pm
Cost:
Adult Nomination fee $50 per event or $95 for both. Juniors $20 per event or
$35 for both. Juniors can receive assistance with traveling expenses from
SSAA NSW. Please ask for details. Nomination forms can be requested by
email or phone. Email or forward to SSAA Northern Rivers Branch Inc, PO Box
899, Casino, 2470, mail with pre-payment appreciated by 18th April 2023, late
nominations accepted.
Camping:
Camping is permitted on the Casino Rifle Range. Limited facilities only. (Toilets
and shower). Browns Caravan Park situated only 500 metres from the range
with onsite vans and cabins available at very reasonable rates. Also a Motel
with ground floor units only 1km away.
Directions:
From Casino take the Bruxner Highway towards Tenterfield. Turn left into
Rifle Range Road immediately after the railway line. Then 300m to the Range
entrance on the right.
Grading Cards:
Grading cards will apply. If no grading card is presented then the competitor will
be entered in the highest grade which has at least 3 competitors. Medals will be
awarded for each grade for adults, ladies, seniors (age 55 to 65), veterans (age
66+), juniors (age 12 to 18) and Traditional Rifle. Trophies will be awarded for
overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd for Open, Classic and Two Gun.
Covid 19 Issues
Should this competition be cancelled due to Covid 19 issues SSAA Northern
Rivers will refund nomination fees if already paid. However neither SSAA
Northern Rivers or SSAA NSW will be responsible for any other costs that may
be incurred such as travelling or accommodation costs.
